How to Use Your Reed Diffuser

Unbox with Care Take your time. Every Livora diffuser is packed to arrive in perfect condition.
Pour with Caution Carefully pour the fragrance oil from the sealed bottle into the diffuser bottle. Always do this over a sink to avoid any spills on surrounding surfaces.
Insert the Reeds Place the reeds into the bottle and allow them to sit for 1 to 2 hours to fully absorb the oil before flipping them. This activates the diffusion process.
Let the Scent Develop Give your diffuser a few hours to begin releasing its fragrance into the room. The scent will gradually build and settle.
Flip the Reeds For a more intense aroma, flip the reeds every few days. The more frequently you flip, the stronger the scent.
Choose the Right Spot Place your diffuser in a well-ventilated area to allow the fragrance to travel evenly through the space.

Where to Place Your Diffuser

Strategic placement makes all the difference between a scent you notice and one that transforms a room.

1. High-Traffic Areas Best for entryways, hallways, living rooms, and offices. Movement through these spaces naturally circulates air around the reeds, helping the fragrance travel further. Nothing welcomes a guest like a beautiful scent the moment they walk in.

✔ Recommended: Console tables, hallway corners, or near doorways without being directly in front of an open door.

2. Near a Gentle Airflow Best for living rooms, bedrooms, and open-plan spaces. A soft breeze from a nearby vent or window helps carry the scent through the room. Too much airflow however causes the oil to evaporate faster than it should.

✔ Recommended: A few feet away from air vents or slightly open windows.

3. At Nose Level Best for desks, bedside tables, coffee tables, and bathroom counters. Too high and the scent rises without being noticed. Too low and it stays near the floor. Nose level is where the fragrance is experienced most fully.

Several factors can cause your diffuser oil to finish significantly faster than expected. Being mindful of these will help you get the most out of every bottle.

Flipping the reeds too frequently accelerates evaporation. Once every 5 to 7 days is enough.
Using all the reeds at once releases more fragrance but shortens the oil life considerably. Start with fewer and add more only if needed.
Placing your diffuser in a central air-conditioned space, such as a large office or a room with strong AC airflow, causes the oil to evaporate at a much faster rate than in a normal home environment.
High ceilings, open-plan spaces, and rooms with constant ventilation will also consume the oil faster.
